September 6, 2008: Anita Page, 98, US actress born Anita Pomares. She was one of the few surviving stars of the silent screen, who worked with Lon Chaney, Joan Crawford and Buster Keaton. She was also the leading lady in one of the first talkie musicals, The Broadway Melody.
