Davy Jones

February 29, 2012: Davy Jones, 66, British singer and actor, of a heart attack. After appearing in Coronation Street and Z Cars, and training briefly as a jockey, he gained global fame as lead singer of the "pre-fab four" The Monkees, a US pop group created for a television show. Their hits included Last Train to Clarksville, I'm a Believer and Daydream Believer.
